The Trail to Success Starts HereTop of Page

The Cedar Springs Kindergarten Team welcomes the parents and guardians of the 2018-2019 Kindergarten Class for an Information night.
Wednesday, March 21, 2018
6:00 - 7:00 pm
Cedar Trails Elementary
Parents and guardians will meet in the multi-purpose room where our kindergarten teaching staff will present an outline of the typical day, share curriculum expectations and give some helpful tips on selecting a backpack and other frequently used items. In August, after teacher assignments have been finalized, we will welcome the students to Cedar Trails' Open House to visit their classroom and meet their teacher.

Your child must be 5 years old by September 1, 2018 to register for Kindergarten. This program is designed for students who show readiness for beginning academics. Pre-reading skills include understanding concepts of print, letter/sound identification and phonemic awareness. The Kindergarten curriculum provides the mathematical and early literacy foundation that students will build upon in future grades.

Our Kindergarten program will be Monday through Friday beginning at 8:40 AM with a 3:31 PM dismissal.  This is a common dismissal time for our Kindergarten through 5th grade students.

As you complete the online pre-enrollment, you will be asked to make an appointment with the Registrar to complete your child's enrollment.
